Sepio CRM

Provided by Sepio Products

Effective: June 2026 Applies to: Android & iOS

Sepio Products built the Sepio CRM app as a business application for use by its authorized employees and representatives. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who uses this Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The information we collect is used only for providing and improving the Service, and we will not use or share it with anyone except as described here.

1 Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request is retained by us and used as described in this Privacy Policy. The app also uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

2 Data We Collect

  • Account & sign-in information — the username and password you use to log in. If you enable “Remember me”, your credentials are stored on your device using the operating system’s encrypted secure storage so you do not have to re-enter them.
  • Profile information — details associated with your account, such as your name, email address and contact number.
  • Business & transaction data — the records you view, approve and (on supported devices) create in the App, primarily sales orders and dashboard analytics (order totals, approvals, order status, and sales/production figures), which may include customer names, contact details and order line items.
  • Photos, files & attachments — with your permission, images captured with your camera and images or documents selected from your device that you choose to attach to an order (common image, document and spreadsheet formats are supported).
  • Location data — see the Location Data section below.
  • Device & push notification data — basic device information and a Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to deliver notifications.

The App can also launch your device’s native phone dialer or email client so you can call or email a contact from within a record; these actions use your device’s own apps.

3 Location Data

With your permission, this Service accesses your device’s location only while you are actively using the App — specifically, when you record a transaction such as creating an order — in order to tag that transaction with the location where it took place.

The App does not track your location continuously, and does not access your location in the background or when the App is closed.

Where location is collected, it is transmitted securely to our servers and associated with the relevant record. We do not sell your location data, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the Service. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings; doing so may limit features that rely on location.

4 Permissions We Request

The App asks for the following device permissions. You can grant or deny each one, and change it later in your device settings; denying a permission may limit the related feature.

PermissionWhy it is used
LocationTo tag an order with the location where it is recorded (only while using the App).
CameraTo capture images you choose to attach to a record.
Photos / FilesTo select images and documents to attach to a record.
NotificationsTo deliver push notifications relevant to your work.
Internet / NetworkTo sign in and sync data with our servers.

5 Data Storage and Sync

Information you enter is stored on and synchronized with our backend servers over encrypted (HTTPS) connections so it is available across sessions and devices. On your device, sign-in credentials and tokens are kept in the operating system’s encrypted secure storage, and some records (such as cached profile images and reference data) may be cached locally to improve performance and support offline viewing.

6 Log Data

Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app, we and our service providers may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include your device’s model, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other diagnostics that help us identify and fix problems.

7 Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and services for the following reasons:

  • To facilitate and operate our Service (hosting and backend infrastructure);
  • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC) — to deliver push notifications;
  • Google Maps Platform (Google LLC) — to display maps, geocode addresses, and provide directions;
  • To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties may access your Personal Information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy at
Google Play Services.

8 Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it — including encrypted on-device storage of credentials and encrypted (HTTPS) transmission of data. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9 Links to Other Sites

This Service may contain links to other sites or open external apps. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site or app, which is not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

10 Children’s Privacy

This Service is intended for use by authorized business users and does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take the necessary action.

11 Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can remove locally stored credentials by signing out of the App.

12 Your Rights

You can manage device permissions (location, camera, photos, notifications) at any time in your device settings, and you can sign out to clear locally stored credentials. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below.

13 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page; these changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
